The inductive current system is by far the most commonly used for dry separation of non-ferrous materials. This system is paired with the vibrating channel positioned before the introduction of the material in the separator belt, to aerate and distribute the material toward the inductive current. It has a painted steel structure and two-ply rubber belt, with material containment walls. The electrical board is equipped with an inverter which is fundamental for the proper operation of the system and a calibration tool for the separator system functions. Two rotating rollers at different speeds generate a repellent magnetic field, exploiting the different poles (positive and negative) which, when the materials pass through the repellent magnetic field, jump forward to the metal conveyor chute. Non-conductive material, which is not affected by the repellent magnetic field, follows the diameter of the discharge roller due to gravity, and falls into the non-ferrous metals chute. The material must be of constant size and well distributed in the repellent magnetic field for the system to operate correctly. The separator is specific for the separation of non-ferrous metals from other materials such as wood, plastic or inert materials.
