4-AXIS ADJUSTABLE BLADE GUIDE TECHNOLOGY – CONTROL WITHOUT COMPROMISE
Norwood’s advanced machined blade guide assembly delivers positive alignment of the blade through angular and lateral adjustment on all 3 axes. It also gives you control over the 4 axis – along the pitch plane about the blade’s longitudinal axis.
Its patented pivoting shaft block to trunnion block geometry featuring a nominal fulcrum delivers precise fine-adjust control over both blade guides on the for-aft plane.
The state-of-the-art dual-technology guides pair ceramic blocks with bearing-equipped heat-treated steel rollers to protect against deflection forces exerted on the blade and deliver precise cuts.

The HD38’s huge throat with integrated patented auto-locking adjustable guide system turns out prized slabs up to 35” (89 cm) wide.

DURADECK® LOG DECK
Engineered from the ground up for heavy-duty assignments, Norwood’s patented Duradeck’s twin-laminated roll-formed high-strength galvanized steel rails with solid steel plate cross members are designed and built to handle extreme loads.
4-AXIS MICRO-ADJUST GUIDES
Fine-tune the guides for optimally-aligned blade support on the longitudinal axis as well as all 3 linear axes.
POWER SAWHEAD
Equipped standard with power sawhead up-down functionality. Activated by a 2-way toggle switch, you control the vertical speed by means of a potentiometer dial integrated into the operator-station-mounted control panel.
